Kenwood’s food processor range gets a stamp of approval from the Good Housekeeping Institute

19 September 2008

Kenwood’s food processor range has been awarded the much sought after Good Housekeeping Institute’s (GHI) accreditation for 2007. Referred to as Britain’s original consumer champion, the coveted GHI award is gained through a series of consumer quality assessment tests, devised by the Institute, and provides a rigorous benchmark for consumers across a diverse range of products.

The three processors in Kenwood’s leading range of kitchen food preparation products are the only food processors to be awarded the GHI accreditation so far this year.  The range is as follows:

FP950 Multipro Libra
Leading the range is the new Multipro Libra – a 1000W food processor manufactured in diecast aluminium to give extra weight and stability with a built in kitchen scale function for added convenience. With an easy to read blue digital display, the Multipro Libra allows users to measure quantities straight into the bowl, yet weigh each individually as they progress their recipe.

The unique processor is the first of its kind, providing increased convenience for consumers and reduced preparation and cleaning time.

A unique patented dual speed drive system provides a variety of speed options - as well as a pulse option – with a total bowl capacity of 3.0L. The glass liquidiser and metal centrifugal juicer combine with the metal handle of the food bowl to give the product a high quality and solid finish. A stunning addition to any kitchen.

FP920 / FP905 Kenwood Multipro
The quiet answer to all food processing needs, the Multipro (FP920 / FP905) is available in a high quality, brushed aluminium body or white gloss metal, to cater for different style requirements. The Multipro comes complete with a 1.5L capacity liquidiser with stainless steel ice crushing blades, full set of slicing, grating and shredding disks plus a dough hook, metal whisk, citrus press and juice extractor, making it a kitchen essential and superb all rounder.

The chic, minimalist look is set to appeal to younger consumers who demand professional standard equipment without compromising on style.  The unique on-board storage system allows the attachments to be neatly placed within the machine, which is essential for maintaining the minimalist feel in any kitchen and ensures work surface space is not reduced.

Penny Williams, Kenwood UK Trade Marketing Manager comments: “The Kenwood food processor range provides something for everyone. The new FP950 Multipro Libra is a stunning top level machine. It’s built in scale function is a real first and demonstrates how Kenwood is dedicated to providing those little details that increase consumer convenience.  We are really excited that the range has passed the Good Housekeeping Institute’s expert researchers’ tests which is testament to our continued commitment to meeting consumer demand for top quality products.”
